Support Us

Why should I consider supporting D&D Newbie Sessions?

We have ambitious goals for D&D Newbie Sessions, but our mission is simple: help new players learn D&D in a welcoming, friendly, and comfortable environment. The support you give our organization will go towards achieving that mission and expanding our efforts.

The primary reason we need support is because we have significant out-of-pocket expenses. The largest expenses we incur are Meetup.com fees, website hosting, purchasing gear/equipment, printing costs, platform fees, advertising, and occasional travel expenses.

Besides financial support, are there other ways that I can help?

Absolutely! There are a variety of non-monetary ways you can help support our organization. See the list below for all the things we are currently looking for help with. If you think of something that’s not listed, just let us know!

Here are ways you can help.

Donations

Becoming a Patron, Buying Me a Dwarven Ale, or donating cryptocurrency is one of the easiest ways to support D&D Newbie Sessions by helping us cover our monthly expenses.

Become a Dungeon Master

Become a dungeon master and help run events for our newbies! There’s a lot of players looking for games and there’s never enough DMs. Be sure to check out our DM Training Program as well.

Become a Moderator

Become a Discord moderator and help keep the community organized and friendly, point people in the right direction, and make sure no one is breaking the rules.

Publish Content

Write an interesting article or blog post and we’ll publish it on the website! Our goal is to publish helpful and original content new players and DMs will find useful.

Socialize on Discord

Help encourage discussion and keep the conversation going on Discord. We want our Discord community to be a friendly and open place for all people to join in the conversation.

Send Us Gear

Have some spare minis or dice? Send us some gear that we can use during in-person D&D games! We currently have a small inventory, but dice get lost and minis break over time.

Spread the Word

Help spread the word about D&D Newbie Sessions on social media, Reddit, and other places where people are looking to learn D&D or become a DM. Word-of-mouth is incredibly powerful!

Follow Us on Social Media

Follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on the latest developments. This also encourages others to follow us as well. Oh, and don’t forget about the monthly newsletter!

Share News & Resources

Help strengthen our Discord community by posting D&D related news and resources to their respective channels. We are working hard to create helpful resources for our members.

Provide Feedback

We’re trying our best with D&D Newbie Sessions, but that doesn’t mean we’re perfect. Provide constructive feedback and help us grow and strengthen our organization.
